Rise in Unity CIC collaborates with schools, the local authority and community organisations to deliver high-quality alternative education and targeted youth support across Huddersfield and the wider Kirklees area.

Our core offer is aimed at KS3, KS4 and post-16 learners aged 11–19, with flexibility for older learners with SEND or an EHCP where appropriate. We also deliver youth hub sessions and holiday programmes for young people aged 8–16, providing an inclusive, safe and engaging environment outside of school hours.

Our provision is built on a structured, evidence-informed model that integrates education, accredited qualifications, personal development and physical activity. By combining academic learning with martial arts, mentoring and youth work, we engage young people who require a more personalised environment and provide them with a safe, supportive space to progress.

We design bespoke programmes, ranging from Entry Level to Level 2, and work alongside referring agencies to ensure consistent communication, clear progression planning, and strong safeguarding practices. Our focus is on improving attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and engagement, while helping young people develop resilience, confidence and transferable skills for the future.

Rise in Unity CIC is committed to reducing barriers to education and supporting positive outcomes for vulnerable and at-risk young people. We are currently developing our independent school registration and formal local authority pathways for learners who require an alternative to mainstream education.
