
Our Alternative Provision Pathways
We offer two tailored Alternative Provision pathways:
➡️ KS4 Alternative Provision – for secondary-aged learners requiring part-time, personalised support
➡️ Post-16 Alternative Provision – for young people transitioning from education or disengaged from college
Safeguarding is central to our Alternative Provision in Huddersfield. Rise in Unity CIC provides a safe, structured and supportive environment for young people accessing Alternative Provision (AP), including learners with SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety-based school refusal, and behaviour and attendance challenges. We work in partnership with schools, families and local authority professionals to keep young people safe and to support positive engagement and reintegration.

Parents can enquire, but placements must be commissioned via a professional route for funding and safeguarding.
No, we consider need and presentation, not just diagnosis.
Yes, we accept intakes year-round (subject to capacity).
Currently, we offer part-time placements with a personalised plan.
Our sessions currently run 10:00 am–3:00 pm (part-time day).
